: Is there anything else I can do for you? Say hello to your folks. Then I’ll make sure he gets your message. 谢 谢 您 打 电 话 来 Nice talking to you. Hope to see you again soon.

1 Great minds think alike. (英雄所见略同,这句做第一句最合适不过了,不过最好翻译成英雄和美女所见略同) 2 Get going!(赶快动身吧,用在开始行动时) 3 Weve got to hit the road.(我们要赶快了,和上一句用法相同,hit the road表现出紧急,很形象) 4 I cant place his face。 (碰见帅哥或者美眉给你打招呼而你不记得他她是谁,这时可以用这个句子) 5 Once bitten , twice shy(一朝被蛇咬,十年怕井绳) 6 look at the big picture(一大局为重,在发生分歧之时可以用这句话来让每个人都三思) 7 Im exhausted.(筋疲力尽,对新驴懒惰如偶很少锻炼的人来说这句肯定有用) 8 Ive got my second wind.(短暂休息后精力得以恢复,此时可用这个句子,意思是我的体力恢复了) 9 My stomach is growling.(对于偶这样可以把任何一次活动都变成野炊郊游的人来说,此行最重要的一部分当然是吃了,这句意思是我的肚子呱呱叫了,很饿) 10 Hungry dogs will eat dirty puddings.(既然很饿,那就饥不择食了)

Work and Pleasure...
Winston Churchill To be really happy and really safe, one ought to have at least two or three hobbies, and they must all be real. It is no use starting late in life to say: “I will take an interest in this or that.” Such an attempt only aggravates the strain of mental effort. A man may acquire great knowledge of topics unconnected with his daily work, and yet hardly get any benefit or relief. It is no use doing what you like; you have got to like what you do. Broadly speaking, human beings may be divided into three classes: those who are toiled to death, those who are worried to death, and those who are bored to death. It is no use offering the manual labourer, tired out with a hard week’s sweat and effort, the chance of playing a game of football or baseball on Saturday afternoon. It is no use inviting the politician or the professional or business man, who has been working or worrying about serious things for six days, to work or worry about trifling things at the weekend. It may also be said that rational, industrious useful human beings are divided into two classes: first, those whose work is work and whose pleasure is pleasure; and secondly, those whose work and pleasure are one. Of these the former are the majority. They have their compensations. The long hours in the office or the factory bring with them as their reward, not only the means of sustenance, but a keen appetite for pleasure even in its simplest and most modest forms. But Fortune’s favoured children belong to the second class. Their life is a natural harmony. For them the working hours are never long enough. Each day is a holiday, and ordinary holidays when they come are grudged as enforced interruptions in an absorbing vocation. Yet to both classes the need of an alternative outlook, of a change of atmosphere, of a diversion of effort, is essential. Indeed, it may well be that those whose work is their pleasure are those who most need the means of banishing it at intervals from their minds.

How are you? I’m good / I’m fine, thank you. I’m happy to meet you. I’m glad/happy to meet you too. It’s a pleasure to meet you. The pleasure’s all mine. How are you doing? I’m doing fine/well/very well, thank you. 2. 下面的表达显得有些多余和过于华丽: on cloud nine tickled pink in seventh heaven cool, groovy, fantastic 5. Fair, so so, all right, okay/OK

How are you? Pleased to meet you. How do you do? Glad to meet you. Happy to meet you. It’s a pleasure to meet you. Nice to meet you. I’m excited to meet you. I’m delighted to meet you. How are you? How are you doing? Good to see you again. How’s everything? Great to see you again. How’s it going? Hi, I’m … Hello, my name is … Let me introduce you to ... I’d like to introduce you to ... I’d like you to meet ... This is …(通常用于介绍你的同事、下属或是熟人)

Communication is ...
Communication is an essential tool in the commercial activities. First, with the skill of communication, you can have a clear description of your intention and it will make the others get the point easier. If you want somebody agree with you or support your idea, firs of all, you must make them understand what the target is. Second, during the commercial conversation, it is unavoidable to debate. During the debating, it is a chance to show your communicating skill. With good communication, you can not only achieve your commercial target, but also get the respect and approved by competitors. Although the debating during the commercial conversation is like a war, however, the communicating is your best weapon to defeat your enemy. Last, but not the least, some people get the talent of communication. They like to attract others by their words. But don't worry, if you think you a not good at communication at present, you can train yourself by daily talking. Before you want to tell something to somebody, especially there is something about commercial affairs, you had better have a preparation. Design your words and practice by yourself in your family before you take the presentation. Bear in mind, it is time to show yourself during the communication, be serious, passional and confident.
